The Moral Of The Story Is................

This past Sunday, I was out with my friends JS and JN. It was an afternoon of fun at Texas Showgirls. Heck---they had the $2.99 steak and potato special. Anyway, the steak part could've been better. Anyway----after 3 hours of being at Texas Showgirls, we left. JS was driving. JS missed an exit. I was thinking that it wouldn't be a problem. We made our way towards another exit. Taking the next exit was a mistake. That area had rising water because of the rain that we had for the past few days. We were stuck with the other cars trying to get out of there. We drove by nearby parking lots try get out of there. We found a weird spot where we weren't sure if JS' truck would get out of there. JN and I got out of the truck to survey the situation. Actually, it was 2 possible deep spots we weren't sure if his truck would get through.

It didn't look that bad. Still, it took forever to convince JS to drive his truck through the deep water spots. JN and I thought JS' truck could make it. I was getting frustrated at JS. I was still outside on the other side of the water puddle. I was beginning to act goofy. I was lying by the grassy area by the offramp of the interstate. I knew no cars were coming because of the other flooded area. I was just acting stupid. After awhile, JS finally moved his truck through and off we went.

He did have to make me run to truck. I did fall down running to his truck because the ground was saturated with water.

Somewhere between lying on the grass and running to JS' truck, my cellphone went missing. It must've fell out of my jacket pocket. It sucked because I had lots of phone #s and pics (some I can't say of what I took) on that phone. Now I have to start all over. I got my replacement phone the other day. Now I have to start all over with the #s and pics.

THE MORAL OF THE STORY----Always stay at Texas Showgirls during a rainstorm.
